Instructions

Making the Syrup: Put the listed ingredients into a pot, bring to a simmer, mixing until the sugar dissolves. After that, turn off the burner and leave to reach room temperature fully. Transfer to a sealable bottle, seal keeping it in the fridge, where it will keep for about a month.

For the Cocktail Base: Combine every liquids in a large bottle, leave to sit for 60 minutes, then strain best through cheesecloth, making it completely strained.

When ready to serve: Add 85ml of the premix to a cocktail shaker filled with ice, gently stirring lightly for about 60 seconds until cold. Strain into a chilled martini glass or similar, garnish with a few cranberries and complete it with a quick spritz with the mandarin essence above the glass.
